Padma Shri awardee Darshanam Mogulaiah now works as daily wager

Padma Shri award winner Darshanam Mogulaiah, also known as Kinnera Mogulaiah, who was honoured with the prestigious award in 2022, now works as a daily wager at a construction site in Hyderabad. The 73-year-old artist, who reinvented the rare musical instrument "Kinnera", faced financial hardships after spending the post-award grant on family expenses.
