Padma Shri awardee doctor, known as 'Dr God', assaulted by associate professor in BHU ICU

Padma Shri awardee doctor TK Lahiri, 85, was allegedly abused and assaulted by associate professor Arvind Pandey in BHU ICU, where Lahiri has been under observation since January this year. Photographs and videos showing injuries to Lahiri's face and redness in one of his eyes have gone viral. Lahiri, famously known as 'Dr God', retired in 2003 from IMS BHU.
