Padma Shri awardee Dr Raghu Ram named in Queen Elizabeth II's New Year's Honours list

Padma Shri awardee and eminent surgeon Dr Raghu Ram Pillarisetti (54) has been named in UK's Queen Elizabeth II's 2021 New Year's Honours list. This has made him one of the youngest Indian-origin surgeons in over 100 years to be conferred with British Empire's second highest ranking order. "I was at loss of words, " Dr Raghu Ram said.
