Padmaavat, 'Udta..' released smoothly, govt shielded them: Kangana

Talking about delay in release of 'Emergency', actress Kangana Ranaut said Deepika Padukone-starrer 'Padmaavat' and Alia Bhatt-starrer 'Udta Punjab' also faced similar threats. "[They] were released quite smoothly. There were threats to chop off someone's nose...but the government protected them," she said. "No one from Congress supported me, not even the film industry did," Kangana added.
