Page, Brin co-founded Google while doing PhD, had Indian advisor: Rajan

Larry Page and Sergey Brin co-founded Google while pursuing PhD and their advisor was IIT-Kanpur alumnus Rajeev Motwani, said RBI ex-Governor Raghuram Rajan on Ranveer Allahbadia's podcast. "If we brought a Motwani to India instead of emigrating because he was looking for a great university...and Page and Brin were Indians...and created a new product? We can do that," Rajan said.
