Painkiller Saridon exempted from list of banned drugs by SC

Piramal Enterprises on Thursday said its pain relief tablet brand Saridon has been exempted from the list of banned Fixed Dose Combinations (FDCs) by the Supreme Court. Piramal was awarded a stay order from the Supreme Court on the ban in September 2018. According to a survey by AC Nielsen, 31 Saridon tablets are sold every second in India.
