Painting of whisky & brandy bottles by ex-UK PM Churchill sells for ₹9.6 crore

A rare painting, of a bottle of Johnnie Walker's Black Label whisky and a bottle of brandy with a jug and glasses, by ex-UK Prime Minister Winston Churchill sold for $1.3 million (₹9.6 crore) in an auction. The sale was around five times above pre-sale estimates, Sotheby's said. The painting entitled 'Jug with Bottles' was created by Churchill in 1930s.
