Pak Army officer beats students, opens fire after wife asks him to handle protest
A Pakistan Army officer, identified as Lieutenant Colonel Asfandyar Wali, allegedly assaulted protesting students and fired shots into the air at Sarhad University's Rawat campus in Islamabad on Monday. Reports said Head of Student Affairs Dr Aina called her husband, Wali, after a clash with protesters. Videos purportedly show Wali, in uniform, hitting students with a stick before firing shots.
