Pak carried out attacks in Afghanistan to escape Mecca Pact: Taliban

Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid accused Pakistan of carrying out attacks on Afghanistan to escape the Mecca Pact, a joint defence agreement between Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Pakistan. He alleged Pakistan was “playing a game” by keeping itself engaged in conflict with Afghanistan through repeated strikes. Pakistan recently carried out airstrikes in many Afghan provinces, killing four civilians.
