Pak condemns Houthi strikes on Saudi, holds back military response despite defence pact

Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif condemned Houthi attacks targeting civilian and energy facilities in Saudi Arabia, with which Pakistan recently signed a defence pact stipulating that an attack on one party would be treated as attack on both. However, Sharif didn't announce any military response. "We reaffirm our steadfast support for Kingdom’s sovereignty, security & territorial integrity," he said.
