Pak Defence Minister invokes Quran's most severe punishment verse for protesters in PoK

Pakistan's Defence Minister Khawaja Asif is facing backlash from religious scholars for invoking one of Quran's most severe punishment verses in message aimed at anti-government protesters in Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir. The verse refers to punishments, including execution & amputation of hands and feet. Scholars are questioning the use of such a severe religious reference for a political protest.
