Pakistan forces take 20+ hours to regain control of police compound after attack by militants
Despite a Major General leading the operation, Pakistan security forces reportedly took nearly 22 hours to regain control of a police compound in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Kohat following a suicide bombing at a mosque and a gunfight with militants. Militants reportedly freed detained associates and took control of the compound. A video showed armed terrorists firing from inside the complex.
