Pak govt not to remove Nawaz Sharif's name from Exit Control List

The Pakistan government has rejected former PM Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law Mohammad Safdar's requests seeking removal of their names from the Exit Control List (ECL), which prevents them from flying abroad. The decision to place the names of the trio on ECL was taken in August last year during a meeting chaired by PM Imran Khan.
