Pak increased intensity of unprovoked shelling across LoC, 16 dead including 5 kids: India
India said Pakistan increased intensity of unprovoked firing across Line of Control (LoC) using mortars and heavy-calibre artillery in areas in J&K's Kupwara, Baramulla, Uri, Poonch, Mendhar and Rajouri sectors. A statement noted that sixteen civilians have been killed, including five children and three women. "India was compelled to respond to bring [shelling]...to a halt," the statement added.
