Pak intelligence officer, who was shot dead, linked to Afghan strikes: Reports

Pakistan Air Force intelligence officer Group Captain Asim Tariq, who was shot dead in Islamabad on Sunday, played a role in planning Pakistan's air strikes in Afghanistan, as per reports. The police had said Asim was shot while trying to prevent abduction of a woman. The shooting reportedly occurred while he was inside his car near Air Force's Air headquarters.
