Pak journalist slams own govt after US visa ban, says 'We nominated Trump twice for Nobel'

Pakistani journalist Hamid Mir publicly lashed out at his own government, accusing it of embarrassing the country on the global stage after the US halted immigrant visa processing for it. "We nominated Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize twice. But Trump banned visas for Pakistan, not India," he said. Notably, the US has paused immigrant visa processing for 75 countries.
