Pakistani journalists have been copying forwards directly from Pakistani military WhatsApp groups and posting them as news. Misleading reports that US and Iran would be restarting talks were produced because Pakistan's military sent incorrect update to many journalists. Iranian delegation had left Pakistan before arrival of US team, with US President Donald Trump cancelling his team's visit.
