Pak-led efforts hit dead end as Iran rejects ceasefire bid, refuses to meet US in Pak: Report

Iran told a committee of regional countries led by Pakistan that it was unwilling to meet US officials in Islamabad to mediate an end to the Middle East war, WSJ reported. The Pakistan-led efforts also hit a dead end as Iran rejected a US proposal for a 48-hour ceasefire. Turkey and Egypt are pushing to find new venues for mediations.
