Pak opp'n leader Shehbaz Sharif released from jail after 7 months

Pakistan's Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif was released on Friday after spending nearly seven months in jail. He was granted post-arrest bail in two corruption cases after furnishing two bail bonds worth PKR 1 crore (nearly ₹49 lakh) in total. Shehbaz is the younger brother of ex-PM Nawaz Sharif and President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
