Pak reaches agreement with IMF, to get ₹42,000 crore over 3 years

Pakistan has reached an agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on a bailout package under which the cash-strapped country will receive $6 billion (over ₹42,000 crore) over three years, officials said. The deal, which still needs approval by the IMF board in US, would be the 13th such bailout since the late 1980s.
