Pak remains in denial of its crime in Bangladesh in 1971: India

MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said India supports Bangladesh in its efforts to seek justice for atrocities committed by Pakistan during Operation Searchlight in 1971. "Genocide involved...systematic and targeted killing of millions of innocent Bangladeshis as well as mass sexual violence against women," he added. However, Jaiswal stated that Pakistan remains in denial of its crimes to this day.
