Pak renames Islampura to Krishan Nagar, Babri Masjid Chowk to Jain Mandir Chowk

Seventy-nine years after partition, Pakistan's Lahore has started renaming places with Islamic names, with their older Hindu, Sikh and colonial names. As part of the move to restore Lahore's cultural fabric, Islampura has been renamed to Krishan Nagar and Babri Masjid Chowk to Jain Mandir Chowk. Separately, Sunnatnagar is now Santnagar and Maulana Zafar Ali Khan Chowk is Lakshmi Chowk.
