Pakistan's move, seeking arbitration after India put Indus Waters Treaty in abeyance, backfired as it's paying arbitration costs for both India and itself, ET reported. Pakistan has spent ₹5.7 crore to keep arbitration alive, with costs expected to rise further. India had put the treaty in abeyance following the Pahalgam terror attack, which is forcing Pakistan to bear arbitration costs.
