Pak's Munir affirms military ties with Lebanon amid fresh tensions

Pakistan Army chief Asim Munir met his Lebanese counterpart, Rodolphe Haykal, to discuss strengthening bilateral military cooperation and peace efforts amid renewed tensions in Middle East. Lebanon is a key aspect of the US-Iran peace deal after Iranian leaders emphasised the need to end Israeli attacks on it. Israel has said it will continue to operate against Hezbollah in Lebanon.
