Pak's remittances hit record $41.6 bn in FY26, surpass export earnings

Pakistan received a record $41.6 billion in workers' remittances during the 2025-26 fiscal year, surpassing the country’s total export earnings of $30.1 billion, PTI reported, citing data from the State Bank of Pakistan. Saudi Arabia ($829.6 million) and the UAE ($792.3 million) were the largest sources of remittances in June, followed by the UK ($514.9 million) and US ($296.8 million).
