Pak SC orders release of UK militant who beheaded US journo Daniel Pearl

Pakistan Supreme Court has ordered the release of British-born militant Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh, convicted for abducting and beheading US journalist Daniel Pearl in 2002. Omar was acquitted of Pearl's murder last year but remained in jail after a series of appeals were filed against the decision. Pearl was abducted from Karachi while researching a story on Pakistan terrorists.
