Pak seeks Canada's help to revive Indus water treaty with India

Pakistan Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar urged Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand, who is on a two-day visit to Pakistan, to help in reviving the Indus Water Treaty with India. "We seek the support of our friendly countries," he stated. India placed the treaty in abeyance in April 2025, a day after the Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 people.
