Pak to repay remaining $1.5 bn of $3.5-bn loan to UAE by April 23

Pakistan will repay the remaining $1.5 billion of a $3.5 billion loan to the UAE by April 23, its central bank said. It coincides with an expected $1.2-billion disbursement by the IMF. The earlier tranche was also repaid after Pakistan received $2 billion from Saudi Arabia. This comes after the UAE refused to roll the debt over and sought repayment.
