Pak unfamiliar with democracy, is happy seeing Indians criticising own govt: Misri

Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri reacted to Pakistan Army spokesman Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry 'expressing joy' at Indian public criticising central government. "It may be a surprise to Pakistan to see citizens criticising their own government. That's the hallmark of an open and functioning democracy," he said. "Pakistan's unfamiliarity with that (democracy) shouldn't be surprising," Misri added.
