Pak woman offering namaz in middle of road in Australia killed by car; driver avoids jail

A young driver who hit and killed a Pakistani woman offering namaz in the middle of a road in Australia's Adelaide has avoided jail. "He hadn't been aware that there was something on the road. He heard this noise...What he hoped was that it had been an animal, or something like that," the defence lawyer had submitted to the court.
