Pakistan Air Force officer shot dead in broad daylight while trying to save woman

Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Group Captain Asim Tariq was shot dead in broad daylight while he allegedly tried to save a woman from an abduction attempt in Islamabad, local media reported. The officer was reportedly part of the Intelligence Directorate. The incident apparently took place near PAF's headquarters. Pakistan minister Mohsin Naqvi expressed grief over the incident.
