Pakistan Cricket Board to appeal against reduction of Umar Akmal's ban

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will file an appeal with the Court of Arbitration for Sports against the reduction of batsman Umar Akmal's ban for failing to report multiple approaches of match-fixing by bookies. Akmal was banned by PCB from all forms of cricket for three years. An independent adjudicator, however, reduced his ban to one and a half years.
