Pakistan cricket broadcast rights struggle for buyers, sold at nearly half the reserve price

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) sold broadcast rights for 25 home internationals to state broadcaster PTV for PKR 35 crore, nearly half its PKR 60-crore reserve price. PTV was the only bidder after PCB barred consortium bids. Pakistan’s poor recent performances, weak sponsor interest and outstanding payments from previous broadcasters reportedly contributed to the subdued response .
