Pakistan faces backlash over blue passports for ex-MPs’ children

Pakistan is facing a backlash after it passed a bill to allow blue passports for children of ex-MPs. Minister Tallal Chaudry criticised the bill, stating the bill was passed despite his reservations against it. Several people also slammed the bill, associating it with class privilege. Dependent children under the age of 28 of ex-MPs will be eligible for blue passports.
