Pakistan fires across LoC in 5 areas; Indian Army responds

The Indian Army has said that Pakistan Army posts resorted to unprovoked firing from posts across the Line of Control (LoC) in Kupwara, Baramulla, Poonch, Nowshera and Akhnoor areas of Jammu & Kashmir. "Indian Army troops responded in a calibrated and proportionate manner," it further said. Earlier, India warned Pakistan against unprovoked violations along LoC.
