Pakistan gives Asim Munir unified command over all forces

Pakistan abolished the Chairman of Joint Chiefs role, replacing it with Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) via a 2025 constitutional amendment. Field Marshal Asim Munir now holds operational command over Army, Navy, and Air Force. The restructuring follows Pakistan's four-day conflict with India in May 2025.
