Pakistan govt revokes hockey captain Ammad Butt’s 2-year ban, terms it illegal

The Pakistan government on Friday revoked national hockey team captain Ammad Shakeel Butt's two-year ban imposed by Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF), terming the step "illegal and unconstitutional". Just before resigning from his position as PHF president on Thursday, Tariq Bugti banned Butt for his criticism of PHF following his outburst against mismanagement during the recent Australia tour.
