Pakistan is fearful of strategic encirclement by India: US report

Stating about Pakistan's active but negative role in Afghanistan for decades, a Congressional Research Service report in US said that Pakistan's security establishment is "fearful of a strategic encirclement by India". "India's diplomatic and commercial presence in Afghanistan, and US' rhetorical support for it, exacerbates Pakistani fears of encirclement," it added.
