Pakistan lose 8 WTC points, fined 40% of match fee for slow over-rate

ICC has fined Pakistan 40% of their match fee and docked eight WTC points after they were found to be eight overs short of the target during the first Test against Bangladesh. Pakistan captain Shan Masood admitted offence and accepted the sanction. Pakistan now have four points in WTC 2025-27 standings and are placed eighth, ahead of only West Indies.
