Pakistan-made 'Goree Beauty Cream' seized in Maharashtra, shop owner booked

Police seized 23 packs of Pakistan-made 'Goree Beauty Cream' from a shop in Maharashtra’s Pimpri Chinchwad. They booked the shopkeeper for allegedly selling duplicate packs of the product that is banned in India. Notably, the Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration had flagged 'Goree Beauty Cream' for containing mercury and lead beyond permissible limits and warned consumers against its use.
