Pakistan may face huge losses in conflict with Afghanistan: Expert

Amid escalating Pakistan-Afghanistan clashes, Major General Ashok Kumar (Retd) said Islamabad may have misread the Taliban's return to power. He noted Pakistan believed it had gained strategic depth, but tensions over the Durand Line, refugees and security have worsened. He warned air strikes may bring short-term gains but could ultimately cost Pakistan heavily.
