Pakistan member of parliament marries 14-yr-old girl; investigation launched

Pakistan police have launched an investigation into the marriage of a 14-year-old girl with member of parliament Maulana Salahuddin Ayubi. Police launched the probe after receiving a complaint from an NGO working for the welfare of women. The marriage of the girl with Ayubi comes despite the country's law, which doesn't allow marriage of girls below the age of 16.
