Pakistan paid over $3.5 billion in interest to IMF in 40 years

Pakistan has paid over $3.5 billion in interest on loans to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in the past 40 years, The Express Tribune reported. The country borrowed around $29 billion from the IMF and repaid more than $21.72 billion over the past 30 years. The data was presented by Pakistan's Finance Ministry during a Senate meeting.
