Pakistan ranks among top 10 nations facing acute hunger

Pakistan has been ranked among the world's top 10 countries facing acute hunger. According to the Global Report on Food Crises, the countries include Nigeria, Democratic Republic of Congo, Sudan, Yemen, Afghanistan, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Pakistan, South Sudan and Syrian Arab Republic. Around 1.1 crore people in Pakistan faced severe food insecurity in 2025.
