Pakistan Security Dialogue cancelled after visas for most foreign delegates revoked

Pakistan Institute for Peace Studies has cancelled its Pakistan Security Dialogue 2026 after visas for most foreign delegates were revoked and Islamabad's Serena Hotel cancelled all bookings linked to the event, citing security concerns. Delegates from China and Afghanistan were among those affected. Islamabad is currently under heightened security over a protest by PTI on September 27.
