Pakistan seeks US help to unlock stalled $1.1-bn IMF loan: Report

Pakistan has sought help from the US to unlock a stalled International Monetary Fund (IMF) loan that would release $1.1 billion, Dawn newspaper reported. The country's Finance Minister Ishaq Dar told a visiting US Treasury delegation that Pakistan was in the process of taking "very tough decisions". Dar pointed out that despite these decisions, Pakistan needs breathing space.
