Pakistan sees over 20% rise in new HIV infections since 2010

Pakistan is among 21 countries where new HIV infections continue to rise despite efforts to control the disease. A report said new infections increased by over 20% between 2010 and 2025. It also warned that funding cuts could hurt testing, prevention and community services, putting progress against HIV at risk.
