Pakistan suspends Geo News for 15 days over AI images of Islamic figures

Pakistan's media regulator has suspended Geo News for 15 days for allegedly broadcasting "unacceptable religious images" during Muharram. The broadcast, titled 'Safar-e-Ishq', reportedly featured AI-generated images of important Islamic figures, including Prophet Muhammad. Geo News issued an apology, stating it immediately removed the content upon realising the mistake.
