Pakistan to begin barter trade with Russia, Afghanistan and Iran

Cash-starved Pakistan has announced a barter trade agreement with Russia, Iran and Afghanistan for certain goods. As per the government, both state-owned and private enterprises will be able to engage in goods-for-goods trade. This will allow Pakistan to import petroleum products, wheat, pulses and other items from Russia.
