Pakistan to cut power supply for 2 hours daily after 15-hour daily outages

Amid severe energy crisis triggered by US-Iran war, Pakistani government has announced the suspension of electricity supply for two hours every evening. This comes after residents across several regions of Pakistan reported electricity outages lasting up to 15 hours a day. Earlier, Pakistan's National Electric Power Regulatory Authority announced a hike in electricity tariffs by PKR 1.42/unit.
